Since the $SKYRIM launch announcement, we have been so humbled and overwhelmed by the level of support and attention this TGE event has generated. We are so excited to see such a high demand for $SKYRIM.

Having talked to a good number of community members and been inspired by our community, we are thrilled to introduce you to the $SKYRIM Token Pre-Listing on Balancer. We do believe this is what the majority wants.

With the $SKYRIM token available on Balancer Liquidity Bootstrapping Pool, we officially kick off the $SKYRIM token liquidity, with which we can allow more users to partake in Skyrim Finance.

This will be one of the first chances for people outside the whitelisted addresses and Thorstarter community to get their hands on $SKYRIM tokens before $SKYRIM moves onto the wider world.

Once the $SKYRIM LBP concludes, it will offer a reasonable and smooth listing/opening price. The whole pool will be migrated to Sushiswap immediately (1 PM UTC, 2nd Sep), and that is when $SKYRIM tokens will be officially distributed around 1 PM to 1:30 PM on Sep 2nd.

In addition, Balancer LBPs are, in essence, liquidity pools. They are commonly used in the crypto space because they offer numerous advantages when compared with other forms of token launch, and they can:

Offer a reasonable and smooth listing/opening price discovery process.
Create an even playing field of participation and give out an even token distribution.

Important Notes

A total of 3M $SKYRIM tokens will be distributed to Balancer’s Liquidity Bootstrapping Pool (LBP) at 1am UTC, 1st Sep . The LBP will continue for 36 hours until 1pm UTC on 2nd Sep.
The SKYRIM : USDC pool weight will start at 96:4 and then gradually move down to 50:50 over the 36 hours span. The Balancer LBP table can refer to the $SKYRIM LBP Calculator.
Below is a graph that shows how $SKYRIM Balancer LBP will move as time goes on. The trading experience is just like the usual Balancer Pool. If more people are buying $SKYRIM, the price goes up. Otherwise, the price goes down. Balancer LBP makes it harder for the $SKYRIM price to go up. Please do not rush.

How do I participate in $SKYRIM Balancer LBP?

Step 1: Install and Setup Your Wallet

You will need wallet applications such as MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase and Portis to interact with Balancer.

NOTES:

It may take two transactions to make a trade (Please be patient.)
First you have to unlock the USDC token for trading on Balancer
And then you need to swap for $SKYRIM.
You will have to click the button and navigate to Metamask twice

Step 2: Navigate to Balancer LBP Link

Make sure your wallet has sufficient USDC because USDC is an ERC20 token on the Ethereum blockchain that has a steady value of one US dollar.

Step 3: Complete Your Trade

Connect your wallet. Once the transaction completes, you will have $SKYRIM sitting in your wallet. Congratulations.

Note: when trading $SKYRIM on Balancer, you may want to choose between the Best or V1 trade liquidity. Best will be the default setting.
