We are Back, with the official testnet launch and its Bug Bounty Program.

The past few months have been hard for our community. When we started this project, we knew there were hardships ahead of us, if we were trying to do something meaningful.

We believe it is fair to say Skyrim Finance was born into an extremely difficult time. To name a few, we encountered large-scale market corrections, fearful uncertainty, and a lack of faith among investors caused by the global coronavirus crisis and many other ominous indicators.

It was certainly an uphill battle.

However, we are still proud of what we have accomplished so far, and fortunately, we made it through. The most difficult time is behind us now.

Globally, over 75% of people around the world think 2022 will be a better year than 2021. And it is. The COVID-19 vaccine rolled out rapidly to provide hope for better times to come. Mask mandates have disappeared rapidly all over the world because both administrators and the general populace are gaining confidence that we are moving to a better place.

Optimism about the state of the global economy is picking up. People have greater expectations for stock market stability in 2022 than they did in 2021.

All in all, The most difficult time is behind Skyrim Finance.

Skyrim Finance Testnet Launch

We are super excited to announce the launch of our testnet (https://app.skyrim.finance/) along with a Bug Bounty program, which will be discussed in more details so Skyrim Finance community members can peer-review the technology and help us improve the current version with more rigorous testing.

In spite of the unexpected difficulties, we have been working hard building our blockchain technology, and will be granting access to initial participants soon. We are very excited and anxious to see how each one of you perceives our latest efforts.

Skyrim Finance Testnet Bug Program

We are sure most of you already knew that many major organizations and tech teams use bug bounties as a part of their ongoing security program. Bug bounty programs give us the ability to take advantage of the collective wisdom of our communities to find bugs and room to improve.

In addition to that, it can also increase the chances that bugs are found and reported to them before malicious hackers can exploit them. Most of the time, it can also be a good public relations choice for a team.

As you can see in the illustration above. We have a reward program in three tiers, each with a different reward range. Please be noted that all rewards will be distributed in $SKYRIM tokens.

Key Rules:

The team behind Skyrim Finance will be the committee to judge which reward range a bug should fall into.
For bugs submitted for Tier 1 rewards, you will need to include a screenshot of the error.
To obtain the Tier2 and Tier3 rewards, the person submitting the bug has to provide detailed reasoning as to where the issue lies and how it could be fixed.
The Skyrim Finance committee has the right to pay significantly more for startlingly serious bugs. However, those will be reviewed and taken care of by the entire team and discussed with you.

The testnet Bug Program will officially begin on April 2nd at 1PM UTC.
